BRAIN HAS INTUITION SWITCH

Every 90 minutes or so, your intuition switches on automatically, says Dr. Laurie Nadel in her book Sixth Sense: Unlocking Your Ultimate Mind Power (ASJA Press/iUniverse). If you keep a log for several days, you can track these windows when your attention shifts from your left to your right brain as part of as part of a mind/body overhaul known as the “ultradian window.”

Symptoms include: difficulty concentrating or focusing, spaciness, and feeling sleepy. The author says, “This is the best time to meditate since your intuition is switched on.”

Another way to detect this shift is to test which nostril is more open and passing more air. More air will be passing through the left nostril when the right brain is more active.

This must be the reason a person feels tired some afternoons when there is no other good reason for it to happen.
