MY DREAM ABOUT OPRAH

This dream was dated December 30, l987

I had a dream one evening,
An emblazoned TV name,
Stood out in embossed letters,
Outlined in a golden flame.

Supporting it in printed words,
Was pinned upon her chest,
Announced to all who saw it,
"THE CHIEF," She is the best.

The meaning of this dreamscape,
I pondered for a time,
The face I saw was Oprah,
A chief from Winfrey line.

She who feels the values that,
Need not be monetary,
Perhaps we need a Chief of State,
That every state would carry.

Where folks would take more interest
In heartfelt needs of others,
And change the rushing money game,
For service to our brothers.
