About Me

Staying In Touch
Vernon, B.C
My niece encouraged me to start a Blog, so I needed a name that had not been used before. I asked my son for some input. "That's easy," he said, "Just name it after your book that was published a few years ago called "In Touch." It also was already taken. He suggested adding an "ing" to the first word and it was accepted as "STAYING IN TOUCH." If my style appears familiar to you, it shows you have obtained my book or borrowed it from the Library and that's always nice to know. I have prepared a work entitled "Sayings of the Sages," which I will send on my Blog from time to time. I will always give them a credit line. I sometimes send in human interest stories for publications and radio stations. Thanks to our son, Ken, who showed me how to set up my Blog. With working summer jobs and winning scholarships he was able to pay for all his own higher education expenses. At graduation he was awarded the Gold Medal as top student at the University of Victoria. This will encourage others to do their best and be able to provide for their own higher levels of education.
